Or should I wait until I get my period and then start my new birth control?

I just had a pap done last week and my ob gyn gave me 3 free samples of birth control and a prescription for one month only (total of 4 months of supply) should he have given me enough to last a year? Do I have to go to him again to ask for refils?

I’ve been taking birth control for a little over a month now, along with some antibiotics for my acne. Solodyn is the brand of antiobiotics i’m taking along with Yaz birth control pills. Could this have a severe effect on the effectiveness of the birth control pills???

My doctor has prescribed medroxyprogesterone to help me start my period. I have not had it in about 7 or 8 months now [[and no I'm not pregnant]]. I have to take the pill for 10 days, then she wants me to start birth control to keep it regulated. Problem is, I’m not sure if I’m supposed to start the birth control the first Sunday after I start the pill, or the first Sunday when my period ends. Does anyone know or has anyone else had to do this? What were your experiences?

I know it takes awhile for your body to adjust to birth control. How do you know when it’s kicked in?
