How do I get my hearing back?

I’m a musician in college. I’ve found that since I started band in 6th grade, my hearing has gone down and down, to the point where I probably hear about 50-60% of what I used to hear, and that’s an immense amount. I live for music, and I desperately want to get my hearing back. Hearing aids are NOT an option, and pretty much neither is any other medical-related medicines or implants. Does anyone know of any TECHNIQUES that cause or aid in hearing recovery? Anything you know is greatly appreciated. The more details the better. Thanks!

can a hearing aid in a persons deaf ear transmit sound from that side to an aid in the hearing ear ?

I was hoping that a transmiting hearing aid in a deaf ear could send sound from that side to a receiving hearing aid in the persons hearing ear on the other side. Is this possible?

Why do I keep hearing this really annoying ringing sound?

Its there right now!! I can’t stand it, its in my right ear, but I don’t think anythings up with my hearing because I’ve heard this sound before and its more like its in my head. (That sounds mad I know)

Its like a buzzing but high pitch. I get it quite a lot and usually have to put loud music on to drown it out.

Does anyone else get this? What is it?

Can people who are hard of hearing be disturbed by overhead noises?

My 83 yeard old mother who is hard of hearing (she sometimes has trouble hearing on the telephone and during some normal conversations) is constantly complaining about the neighbor in the apartment just above her making loud noises, stomping, dragging and dropping things. Is it possible that she is imagining this or can a person with hearing loss still be bothered by such disturbances? I’d like to know before I complain to her apartment management.
