Why is that everyone trusts doctors that much (about the problems whose link with medicine is highly questionable) despite they clearly act against all the established principles and practices of their profession? Aren’t doctors afraid that may be they deal with a non medical problem and actually the very same substances they confidently prescribe (despite not knowing their precise working mechanisms) can worsen everything in the long run? After all those substances they sometimes prescribe for life time are tested only 6-8 weeks on a very limited number of people, and the conclusions about their efficacy and eficiency are based on very subjective evaluations? This defies both science and medicine.

In my message doctors include psychiatrists as well because essentially they’re doctors.
and thus psychiatrists are by no means more knowledgeble than physicians with respect to mental health problems.

I have a science fair that’s for extra credit in my school. I DEFINITELY want to do something involving diet soda versus regular soda. What should I test for between these two factors?
